Pastor • Theologian • Author • Teacher of the Word
I am Archbishop, Dr. Leonard Austin, Th.D, a servant of God whose life has been shaped by grace, calling, and unwavering faith in Jesus Christ.
I was born on June 25, 1960, in Montego Bay, Paradise, a place rich in beauty and cultural heritage. From my earliest days, I was nurtured by the love, strength, and guidance of my mother, Sitire Williams, whose influence laid the moral and spiritual foundation that would guide my life.
A defining moment in my spiritual journey occurred on April 17, 1977, when I was baptized, publicly declaring my faith and commitment to Jesus Christ. That moment marked a covenant with God that would shape the direction of my life.
In 1980, I was ordained as a Pastor, stepping fully into the work of ministry. This ordination marked the beginning of a lifelong commitment to preach the Gospel, shepherd God’s people, and labor faithfully in the vineyard of the Lord.
Throughout my years of service, I have sought to walk in holiness, order, and spiritual integrity, believing that leadership in the Church must be grounded in humility and accountability to God.
My academic and theological pursuits, culminating in the attainment of the Doctor of Theology (Th.D) degree, reflect my deep respect for biblical scholarship and my desire to rightly divide the Word of truth.
As an Archbishop, my mission continues to be one of service—to equip leaders, strengthen churches, and provide spiritual oversight rooted in love, discipline, and biblical authority.
Looking back, I see the hand of God guiding every season of my life. Looking forward, my prayer remains to finish my course with joy, keep the faith, and glorify God in all things.
